The client’s request was to create an industrially modern yet cozy interior. At the same time, his courage and trust allowed us to work with materials that were unusual for a private residential interior, using the contrasts that the construction of the building offered, and playing around with the illumination of the space.
An important element of the interior is the use of basic materials, such as ceramic tiling on the walls in the living room and bedroom and opposed to that the coating in the bathrooms, the exposed cast concrete ceiling without any final surface treatment, the staircase made of „teardrop“ metal sheets and the library, pelmets and railings made of water pipes. The softening element is the natural wood flooring, upholstered furniture and neutral curtains.
