The ground floor space of this traditional timber house was originally divided into two smaller rooms with an unsightly yellowish wood grain partition. In order to make a better use of the space, GeddesKaňka, together with the client, decided to create one large room, with the tiled wood-burning stove as its focal point. The stove itself is designed to correspond with the beautiful timbering of the cottage and, at the same time, to provide the greatest comfort and well-being for its users. The entrance and bathroom have also been reconstructed, which allows the cottage to be used throughout the whole year
